The AHNS Foundation and The AHNS Diversity Service are excited to announce the Eddie Méndez Research Fellowship Award!
This is a 1 year fellowship for URiM students that have completed at least M2 year at the time their award period would begin, for students with an interest in Otolaryngology and exposure to head and neck oncologic research.
We are seeking AHNS members engaged in ALL aspects of head and neck research: basic science, translational, cancer disparities, population health, community engagement and/or clinical to submit a short description of opportunities in their respective research field. AHNS members interested in supporting a medical student for 1-year are asked to provide the following:
- A brief description of their research interests including potential project(s) ideally suited for a one year research rotation and their contact information. A NIH biosketch may also be provided but is not required.
- This information will be uploaded on the AHNS website to allow students to determine interested faculty, areas of research, and facilitate further contact between potential mentors and mentees
Refer to the attached flyer here for further fellowship details.
