Dr. Antoine Eskander  is a head and neck surgical oncologist and endocrine surgeon in Toronto, Canada.  He treats cancers of the mouth (oral cavity), throat (oropharynx), voice box (larynx), salivary glands (parotid and submandibular gland), cutaneous malignancies (melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and basal cell carcinoma), and thyroid/parathyroid gland disorders and malignancies. He is also a microvascular reconstructive surgeon who is well equipped to reconstruct head and neck defects related to cancer and trauma.
He completed his undergraduate (HBSc) and medical education (MD) at the University of Toronto.  He also completed residency in otolaryngology - head & neck surgery at the same institution.  During residency he completed the Royal College and University of Toronto Clinician Investigator Program and a thesis-based Masters of Science in Clinical Epidemiology at the Harvard School of Public Health.  During that time he developed a epidemiological atlas for Cancer Care Ontario through the Institute for Clinical Evaluative Sciences (ICES) studying head and neck cancers in Ontario.  He then went on to an Advanced Training Council American Head and Neck Society head and neck surgical oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Ohio State University.
He is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Toronto in the dept of OTOHNS and works at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, the Odette Cancer Centre and the Michael Garron Hospital.  He also has privileges at Toronto General Hospital, Women's College Hospital, and North York General Hospital.  He is a clinician investigator and an adjunct scientist at ICES.  (research biography can be found here https://www.ices.on.ca/About-ICES/ICES-Scientists/E/Antoine-Eskander/Bio)
