I am a board-certified otolaryngologist - head & neck surgeon specialized in the comprehensive treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the head & neck as well as reconstructive facial plastic surgery. I have special interests and advanced training in minimally invasive (endoscopic & robotic) approaches to removing these tumors as well as microvascular surgical techniques to restore form and function to patients impacted by cancers, trauma, and other disorders of the head & neck.
I obtained my medical degree at the Emory School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA where I also completed my residency training in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Following that, I obtained further training focused on Head & Neck Oncology, Microvascular Reconstruction, and Robotic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania.
I joined the faculty of the Emory University School of Medicine in 2023 where I am based primarily at Grady Memorial Hospital in Downtown Atlanta. My research interests include how HIV and socioeconomic factors intersect with head & neck cancers. I am also passionate about quality improvement and how systems-based approaches can be used to optimize clinical outcomes, especially as it relates to the care of patients with cancer.
