Biography/Statement
Dr. Sayre is an assistant professor of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Sayre specializes in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery. She is an academic head and neck surgeon, and her clinical interests include oral cancer, pathology of the mouth and jaws, head and neck microvascular surgery, and comprehensive reconstructive surgery of the mouth, face, and jaws. She provides surgical care for patients at Boston Medical Center. Dr. Sayre was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. She completed her undergraduate degree at Pepperdine University in California. She graduated valedictorian from dental school at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. She completed medical school and residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She then completed a fellowship in head and neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.provides surgical care for patients at Boston Medical Center.
