The Department of Otolaryngology- Head and Neck Surgery and Communicative Disorders at the University of Louisville is actively seeking a fellowship trained Head and Neck, Microvascular Reconstructive surgeon at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. The faculty member will participate in our Otolaryngology-HNS residency training program and practice clinically with the University of Louisville Health System. The practice has ten subspecialty trained otolaryngologists providing care in a metropolitan, academic setting. The ideal candidate should have clinical and operative experience/training in care of head and neck cancer, Robotic Surgery for Head and Neck pathology, microvascular reconstructive surgery, salivary gland surgery, and thyroid and Parathyroid surgery. The candidate should be board-certified or Board eligible.
An interest in clinical or basic science research is encouraged. The candidate should be Board-certified or Board-eligible.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified candidates must have an MD and be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. Completion of an accredited residency program is required.
- Completion of a Head and Neck, Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery fellowship is required.
- A strong commitment to patient care and resident education is required.
