Join our team as an Assistant/Associate Attending Surgeon in the Head and Neck Service. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a strong work ethic and a collaborative spirit to be part of a world-class organization that is leading the way in healthcare innovation. The incumbent will join the Head and Neck Service team of 13 expert surgeons and will have a primary clinical focus of head and neck oncologic surgery.
Role Overview:
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary Head and Neck Disease Management Team.
- Provide an integrated and personalized treatment approach for patients with thyroid, oral cavity, pharyngeal, laryngeal, sinonasal, skin, salivary, and other types of head and neck cancers.
- Receive an academic appointment at Weill Cornell Medical College.
- Treat patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings in NY and NJ.
- Perform complex head and neck surgical resections.
- Educate fellows, residents, and students.
- Conduct clinical or translational research.
- Participate in Head and Neck Service activities.
- Optional: perform microvascular reconstruction of head and neck surgical defects in collaboration with the Plastics and Microvascular Service.
Key Qualifications:
- Board certified or eligible head and neck surgeon
- Training in an AHNS accredited head and neck surgical oncology fellowship
- Experience in Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS)
- Experience in integrating multi-disciplinary care of patients with advanced head and neck cancer
- Microvascular reconstructive skills are welcome, but not required
Pay Range: $470,000 - $570,000
