Head & Neck Surgeon
The Queen’s University Medical Group is seeking a full time Head and Neck Surgeon to join the Queen's Head and Neck Institute in Honolulu, Hawaii. The ideal candidate should be interested in joining a well-established, high volume clinical practice that cares for the vast majority of head and neck cancer in the state of Hawaii. Surgeons at the Queen's Head and Neck Institute work as integral members of the multidisciplinary head and neck team to provide the full range of diagnostic, therapeutic, and operative head and neck care for patients in the outpatient, inpatient, and operative settings. Candidates should have interest in training and teaching residents from the John A. Burns School of Medicine in the clinical and academic settings.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Medicine or EC FMG certification
- Fellowship training in head & neck oncology and microvascular reconstructive surgery
- Board certified or board qualified Otolaryngology head and neck surgeon. If board qualified, board certification must be completed within two (2) years of employment
- Able to obtain an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Hawaii
- During the period of employment, shall be and remain a member of the QMC medical staff in good standing with appropriate privileges without restriction
- Qualified for an appointment on the faculty of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine
- Participates in Head and Neck Surgery Call only
