My name is Samih J. Nassif. I currently work in Huntsville, AL, as a head and neck surgical oncologist/microvascular reconstructive surgeon. I was born in Colombia, and came to the United States for college and medical school. I completed residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck surgery at Tufts Medical Center, followed by an AHNS fellowship in Head and Neck surgical oncology/microvascular reconstructive surgery at AdventHealth Celebration.

My current interests are transoral surgery for de-escalation of treatment for HPV+ oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma, the role of immunotherapy for locoregionally advanced head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, and head and neck cancer patient education for the growing Hispanic population in the US.
